अरुन्धत्यपि कल्याणी तपोनित्याभवत्‌ तदा । “वे तपस्वी मुनि वहीं आश्रम बनाकर रहने लगे। उस समय कल्याणी अरुन्धती भी प्रतिदिन तपस्यामें ही लगी रही

Arundhaty api kalyāṇī tapo-nityābhavat tadā.

قال فايشَمبايانا: في ذلك الوقت صارت أَرُندَهَتي المباركة هي أيضًا ملازمةً للتقشّف (التَّبَس) لا تفتر، مواظبةً عليه كل يوم. وأقام أولئك المونِيّون الزهّاد هناك أشرمًا وسكنوه. وحينئذٍ كانت أَرُندَهَتي الحسناء تلازم التنسّك يومًا بعد يوم بلا انقطاع.
