Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 58 — Arjuna’s Arrow-Storm and Relief of Bhīmasena
आगच्छमानांस्तान् संख्ये प्रहशन् विजयैषिण: । दधारैको रणे कर्णो जलौघानिव पर्वत:
sañjaya uvāca |
āgacchamānāṁs tān saṅkhye prahaśan vijayaiṣiṇaḥ |
dadhāraiko raṇe karṇo jalaughān iva parvataḥ ||
قال سانجيا: وبينما كان أولئك المحاربون يتقدمون إلى المعركة مبتسمين، يبتغون الظفر، وقف كارنا (Karṇa) وحده في الميدان فصدّهم—كما يصدّ الجبل سيول الماء المندفعة.
