कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

वरान्‌ प्रादाद्‌ बहुविधान्‌ भार्गवाय महात्मने । उक्तश्न देवदेवेन प्रीतियुक्तेन शूलिना,उन देवाधिदेव त्रिशूलधारी भगवान्‌ शिवने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ महात्मा भार्गवको नाना प्रकारके वर प्रदान किये

varān prādād bahuvidhān bhārgavāya mahātmane | uktaś ca devadevena prītiyuktena śūlinā ||

إنّ مهاديڤا، ربَّ الآلهة، وقد امتلأ رضًا ومودّة، منحَ بها‌رغَڤا العظيمَ النفس أنواعًا كثيرة من العطايا. وتُبرز الحادثة أنّ الفضل الإلهي يُصوَّر استجابةً للتعبّد والاستحقاق، وأنّ القوّة تُمنَح بحكمة وتمييز لا تُنتَزع بكِبر.
