कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
मम युद्ध प्रयच्छ ध्वं दैत्या युद्धमदोत्कटा: । प्रेषितो देवदेवेन वो निजेतुं महासुरा:
mama yuddhaṁ prayacchadhvaṁ daityā yuddhamadotkaṭāḥ | preṣito devadevena vo nijetuṁ mahāsurāḥ ||
قال مهيشڤارا: «يا معشر الدايتيّا، يا من تستعرون بسُكر القتال—هَبوني المبارزة! ويا أيها الأسورا العظام، إنّ إله الآلهة قد أرسلني لأقمعكم.» وبذلك تُصوَّر المواجهة على أنها صدامٌ مُجازٌ بأمرٍ إلهي، تُكبح فيه القوة المتغطرسة المولعة بالعنف بسلطانٍ كونيٍّ أعلى.
