सीदमाने रथे चैव नर्दमानेषु शत्रुषु स सम्भ्रमात् तु भगवान् नादं चक्रे महाबल:,जब रथ शिथिल होने लगा और शत्रु गर्जना करने लगे, तब महाबली भगवान् शिवने बड़े वेगसे घोर गर्जना की

ولمّا أخذت العربة تترنّح وراح الأعداء يزأرون ابتهاجًا، أطلق الربّ الجبّار—شيفا—وقد استبدّت به عجلةٌ مفاجئة، زئيرًا مروّعًا شديدًا. وفي خضمّ اضطراب الحرب وضجيج الشماتة، فرضت الحضرة الإلهية نفسها، فغمرت الخوفَ بهيبةٍ تُخرس القلوب.
