कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततो नारायणस्तस्माच्छर भागाद् विनि:सृतः । वृषरूपं समास्थाय उज्जहार महारथम्,तब भगवान् नारायणने उस बाणके एक भागसे बाहर निकलकर वृषभका रूप धारण करके भगवान् शिवके विशाल रथको ऊपर उठाया
tato nārāyaṇas tasmāc chara-bhāgād viniḥsṛtaḥ | vṛṣa-rūpaṃ samāsthāya ujjahāra mahā-ratham ||
ثم خرج نارايانا من جزءٍ من ذلك السهم. فاتخذ هيئةَ ثورٍ ورفع العربة العظمى—عربة شيفا الفسيحة—فأظهر قدرةً إلهيةً تحمي أهلَ البرّ وتُذِلّ الكِبْر، ولو في قلب عنف الحرب.
