अभ्यवर्तन्त सहसा परीप्सन्तो नराधिपम् । उसे संकटमें पड़ा देख कर्ण, अश्वत्थामा तथा कृपाचार्य आदि वीर अपने राजाकी रक्षा चाहते हुए सहसा युधिष्ठिरके सामने आ पहुँचे
abhyavartanta sahasā parīpsanto narādhipam |
قال سانجيا: «ولمّا رأوا الملك واقعًا في الخطر، اندفع كارنا وأشفاتثاما وكريباتشاريا وسائر الأبطال—حرصًا على حماية سيّدهم—مسرعين لمواجهة يودهيشثيرا. وتُبرز هذه اللحظة خُلُقَ ساحة القتال: الوفاء للملك وللرفاق، حتى وسط انهيار الموقف.»
