Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
tasyārjuno dhanuś chittvā śarāvāpaṃ nikṛtya ca

The verse highlights a warrior’s disciplined use of force: by destroying the opponent’s weapons (bow and quiver), Arjuna neutralizes the threat through skill and strategy, suggesting restraint and control even amid lethal conflict.
Sañjaya narrates that Arjuna disables his opponent by cutting the bow and then cutting off the quiver, preventing further archery and shifting the battle’s balance through tactical disarmament.
