युधिष्ठिरकृष्णसंवादः — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Appeal and Kṛṣṇa’s Assurance
Droṇa-parva, Adhyāya 59
अधर्मरुचयो लुब्धा मूर्खा वा नाभवंस्तदा
adharmarucayo lubdhā mūrkhā vā nābhavaṃs tadā
قال نارادا: «في ذلك الوقت لم يكن أحدٌ يهوى اللادارما—لا الطمّاع ولا الأحمق».
नारद उवाच
A society or moment aligned with dharma is marked by the absence (or restraint) of tendencies that relish adharma—especially greed and foolishness, which commonly drive unethical action.
Nārada is describing a particular time as morally sound: he characterizes it by stating that people inclined toward unrighteousness—specifically the greedy and the foolish—were not present or did not prevail then.
