भविता त्वेतदेवं हि नैतज्जात्वन्यथा भवेत् | भव त्वनिन्दिता लोके कुरुष्व वचनं मम,यह बात इसी प्रकार होनेवाली है। इसमें कभी कोई परिवर्तन नहीं हो सकता। तू लोकमें निन्दित न हो, मेरी आज्ञाका पालन कर
bhavitā tv etad evaṁ hi naitaj jātvan anyathā bhavet | bhava tv aninditā loke kuruṣva vacanaṁ mama ||
«سيكون الأمر هكذا حقًّا، ولن يكون قطّ على غير ذلك. فكن ممّن لا يلومهم الناس في العالم—ونفّذ قولي.»
नारद उवाच
The verse affirms inevitability (what is destined will occur) while still urging ethical agency: one should act so as to remain ‘anindita’—free from blame—by following righteous counsel and choosing conduct that preserves moral standing.
Nārada, speaking with prophetic authority, assures the listener that a particular outcome is fixed and cannot be altered, and then instructs them to comply with his directive so that they are not censured by society.
