Jayadrathasya śoka-bhaya-vilāpaḥ — Droṇena āśvāsanaṃ ca
Jayadratha’s lament and Droṇa’s reassurance
व्यास उवाच युधिष्ठिर महाप्राज्ञ सर्वशास्त्रविशारद | व्यसनेषु न मुहान्ति त्वादृशा भरतर्षभ,व्यासजी बोले--सम्पूर्ण शास्त्रोंके विशेषज्ञ, परम बुद्धिमान, भरतकुलभूषण युधिष्ठिर! तुम्हारे-जैसे पुरुष संकटके समय मोहित नहीं होते हैं
vyāsa uvāca | yudhiṣṭhira mahāprājña sarvaśāstraviśārada | vyasaneṣu na muhyanti tvādṛśā bharatarṣabha ||
قال فياسا: «يا يودهيشثيرا، يا ذا الحكمة العظمى والعارف بجميع الشاسترا، يا ثورَ سلالة بهاراتا—إن أمثالك لا يفقدون صفاء البصيرة ولا يقعون في الوهم حين تنزل الشدائد.»
