शरार्ता न जहुद्रोणं पज्चाला: पाण्डवैः सह । वे पाण्डवोंसहित पाउ्चालवीर आर्यधर्मके अनुसार विजयके लिये प्रयत्नशील थे। उन्हें रोकना या पराजित करना बहुत कठिन था। वे बाणोंसे पीड़ित होनेपर भी द्रोणाचार्यको छोड़ न सके
śarārtā na jahur droṇaṃ pāñcālāḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha |
قال سنجيا: على الرغم من عذاب السهام، لم يهجر البانچالا مع الباندافا درونا. فقد قيّدهم ناموسُ المحارب وعزمُ الظفر، فاندفعوا بعزيمةٍ لا تلين—حتى غدا كبحُهم أو قهرُهم أمرًا بالغ الصعوبة.
