जलजानि च सत्त्वानि दहमानानि भारत । न शान्तिमुपजम्मुर्हि तप्यमानैर्जलाशयै:,भारत! जलाशय भी तप गये थे, जिससे दग्ध होनेवाले जलचर प्राणियोंको भी शान्ति नहीं मिल पाती थी
jalajāni ca sattvāni dahamānāni bhārata | na śāntim upajagmur hi tapyamānaiḥ jalāśayaiḥ ||
قال سنجيا: «يا بهاراتا، حتى الكائنات المولودة في الماء، وهي تحترق بتلك الحرارة، لم تنل سكينة؛ لأن البحيرات والبرك نفسها قد غدت ملتهبة.»
