ततस्तुमुलमाकाशे शरवर्षमजायत । पावकार्चि: परीतं तत् पार्थमेवाभिपुप्लुवे,फिर तो आकाशमें बाणोंकी भयंकर वर्षा होने लगी और सब ओर फैली हुई आगकी लपटें अर्जुनपर ही टूट पड़ीं
tatas tumulam ākāśe śaravarṣam ajāyata | pāvakārciḥ parītaṃ tat pārtham evābhipupluve ||
قال سنجيا: ثم نشأ في السماء وابلٌ هائجٌ من السهام. وقد أحاطت به ألسنةُ النار المتأجّجة، اندفع ذلك الهجوم وانصبّ في معظمه على بارثا (أرجونا)، كأنّ ضراوةَ المعركة تتقاطر عليه وحده.
संजय उवाच
