vyāmoham agamad rājan raśmīn utsṛjya vājinām |
قال سانجيا: أيها الملك، إن سائق العربة—وقد أثخنه جرحُ ابنِ درونا—وقع في ذهولٍ شديد؛ فأفلت زمام الخيل وأُغمي عليه.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the charioteer, severely wounded by Droṇa’s son Aśvatthāmā, loses consciousness and drops the horses’ reins, endangering control of the chariot in the midst of battle.
