Shloka 213

पितुर्वधममृष्यंस्तु वक्ष्याम्यद्येह पौरुषम्‌ । “यद्यपि श्रेष्ठ पुरुषको कभी अपनी प्रशंसा नहीं करनी चाहिये, तथापि अपने पिताके वधको न सह सकनेके कारण आज मैं यहाँ अपने पुरुषार्थका वर्णन कर रहा हूँ

pitur-vadham amṛṣyaṁs tu vakṣyāmy adyeha pauruṣam |

قال سَنْجَيا: «إذ لا أطيق احتمال قتل أبي، فسأُعلن اليوم، هنا، عن بأسِي. وإن كان الرجل الشريف لا ينبغي له أن يمدح نفسه، فإن فجيعة مقتل أبي تُلجئني إلى أن أتحدث عن جهدي ورجولتي.»
