इस प्रकार श्रीमह्मा भारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत द्रोणवधपर्वमें युधिष्ठिरका असत्यभाषणविषयक एक सौ नब्बेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargata-droṇavadhaparvaṇi yudhiṣṭhirasya asatyabhāṣaṇa-viṣayakaḥ ekaśata-nabbēvāṁ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
وهكذا تنتهي الفَصْلُ التاسعُ والتسعون بعد المئة من «دروṇa پرفا» في «المهابهارتا الشريفة»، ضمن قسم «قتل دروṇa»، في شأن قول يودهيشثيرا ما ليس بصدق. وتُشير خاتمةُ الفصل إلى التوتر الأخلاقي الكامن في صميم الحادثة: فحين يشتد ضغطُ الحرب، يُستدرَج حتى الملكُ المشهورُ بالصدق إلى لفظٍ مُساوِمٍ، ويغدو لثقله الأخلاقي أثرٌ في سقوط دروṇa وفي تأمل السرد لمعنى الدارما تحت ضرورةٍ قصوى.
