तां गदां बहुभि: कर्ण: सुपुड्खै: सुप्रवेजितै: । प्रत्यविध्यत् पुनश्चान्यै: सा भीम॑ पुनराव्रजत्
tāṃ gadāṃ bahubhiḥ karṇaḥ supuṅkhaiḥ supravejitaiḥ | pratyavidhyat punaś cānyaiḥ sā bhīmaṃ punar āvrajat ||
قال سانجيا: إنّ كارنا أصاب تلك الغَدَا مرارًا بكثيرٍ من السهام—محسنة الريش، مدفوعةً بقوةٍ عظيمة—غير أنّ الغَدَا، وإن كُفَّت بسهامه، عادت من جديدٍ متجهةً نحو بهيما. ويُبرز المشهد زخم المعركة الذي لا يلين: مهارةٌ وقوةٌ تصطدمان بعزمٍ لا يتزعزع، وحتى العوائق المتكررة لا تصرف بسهولة هجومًا عاقدًا العزم.
