पज्चालास्तु विशेषेण द्रोणसायकपीडिता:
Pāñcālāstu viśeṣeṇa droṇasāyakapīḍitāḥ.
يروي سنجيا: «وكان البانچالاس (Pāñcāla) على الخصوص أشدَّ الناس بلاءً—مضغوطين مُعذَّبين—بسهام درونا (Droṇa). ويُبرز هذا السطر كيف يستطيع معلّمٌ واحدٌ في فنون السلاح أن يضاعف الثقل الأخلاقي للحرب: فالمهارة والواجب في ساحة القتال يصيران، عند الخصم، تجربةً مركّزة من الألم والفقد.»
