यश्चैवं रक्षते पार्थ कर्णात् कृष्णो महामना: । आत्मानं स कथं राजन् न रक्षेत् पुरुषोत्तम:,राजन्! जो महामनस्वी पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण कर्णसे अर्जुनकी इस प्रकार रक्षा करते हैं, वे अपनी रक्षा कैसे नहीं करेंगे?
yaś caivaṁ rakṣate pārtha karṇāt kṛṣṇo mahāmanāḥ | ātmānaṁ sa kathaṁ rājan na rakṣet puruṣottamaḥ ||
قال سنجيا: «يا أيها الملك، إذا كان كريشنا العظيم الهمة يحمي بارثا من كَرْنَ على هذا النحو، فكيف لا يحمي ذلك الشخص الأسمى نفسه؟»
