अभ्यराजत तेजस्वी शक्रो देवगणेष्विव । उस सेनाको भगाकर प्रतापी धृष्टद्युम्न देवताओंके समूहमें तेजस्वी इन्द्रके समान सुशोभित होने लगे
sañjaya uvāca | abhyarājat tejasvī śakro devagaṇeṣv iva | tāṃ senāṃ bhagākṛtya pratāpī dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ devatā-samūhe tejasvī indra iva suśobhitum ārabdhavān |
قال سانجيا: «إن دْهريشتاديومنَ المتلألئ الشجاع، بعدما بدّد ذلك الجيش وأوقعه في الهزيمة، أشرق كإندرا بين جموع الآلهة. فقد كسر صفوف العدو وشتّت قواهم، ثم برز في وسط رجاله ببريقٍ آمرٍ كالبريق الذي يتجلّى به إندرا بين السماويّين.»
