युधिषछ्िर उवाच श्रुतं ते तत्त्वतस्तात यद्‌ द्रोणस्य चिकीर्षितम्‌ । यथा तदनृतं तस्य भवेत्‌ तत्‌ त्वं समाचर,युधिष्ठिर बोले--तात! द्रोणाचार्य क्या करना चाहते हैं, यह तो तुमने अच्छी तरह सुन ही लिया होगा। उनका वह संकल्प जैसे भी झूठा हो जाय, वही तुम करो

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca

śrutaṃ te tattvatastāta yad droṇasya cikīrṣitam | yathā tad anṛtaṃ tasya bhavet tat tvaṃ samācara ||

Translation

قال يودهيشثيرا: «يا عزيزي، لقد سمعت على وجه الحقيقة ما ينوي درونا أن يفعله. فاعمل على نحوٍ يجعل عزمه باطلًا—حتى يُحبط ما أراد بلوغه.»
