घोररूपो महाराज योधानां हर्षवर्धन: । महाराज! तत्पश्चात् अन्तरिक्षमें बाणोंका दूसरा भयंकर संग्राम-सा होने लगा, जो योद्धाओंका हर्ष बढ़ा रहा था
ghorarūpo mahārāja yodhānāṁ harṣavardhanaḥ |
قال سانجيا: أيها الملك العظيم، ثم إن في الفضاء كأنما نشبت معركة ثانية رهيبة من السهام، تزيد فرح المقاتلين ونشوتهم. وفي المناخ الأخلاقي لحرب الملحمة، تُبرز هذه العبارة كيف يمكن للقتال أن يُسكر المحاربين بالإثارة والكبرياء حتى حين يكون المشهد مفزعًا، كاشفًا التوتر بين البأس الحربي وزخم العنف الذي ينزع عن الإنسان إنسانيته.
