अलायुधस्य भीमवधसंकल्पः

Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma

त्वं तेजस्त्वं परं ब्रह्म त्वं सत्यं त्वं महत्‌ तपः । त्वं श्रेयस्त्वं यशक्षाग्रयं कारणं जगतस्तथा,“आप ही तेज, आप ही परब्रह्म, आप ही सत्य, आप ही महान्‌ तप, आप ही श्रेय, आप ही उत्तम यश और आप ही जगतके कारण हैं। आपने ही इस सम्पूर्ण स्थावर-जंगम जगत्‌की सृष्टि की है और प्रलयकाल आनेपर यह पुनः आपटहीमें लीन हो जाता है

sañjaya uvāca | tvaṁ tejastvaṁ paraṁ brahma tvaṁ satyaṁ tvaṁ mahat tapaḥ | tvaṁ śreyastvaṁ yaśaḥ ślāghryaṁ kāraṇaṁ jagatastathā |

قال سنجيا: «أنت الإشراق؛ وأنت البراهمان الأعلى. أنت الحق؛ وأنت الزهد العظيم. أنت الخير الأسمى؛ وأنت المجد الجدير بالثناء؛ وأنت عِلّة العالم. منك ينبثق هذا الكون كلّه، المتحرّك والساكن؛ وعند زمن الفناء يعود فينحلّ ويذوب فيك وحدك.»
