Transliteration

sūryāstamanam icchanto lohitāyati bhāskare |

Translation

قال سنجيا: لما أخذت الشمس (بهاسكارا) تميل إلى الاحمرار، أخذوا—وقد تاقت نفوسهم إلى الغروب—ينتظرون مجيئه. وبقصدٍ ماكرٍ قاسٍ، جعلوا ملك السِّندهو جايادراثا في المؤخرة كدرع، وترصّدوا فرصة قتل شري كريشنا وأرجونا، يضبطون هجومهم على دنوّ العَشِيّ. ويُبرز هذا المشهد كيف أن الشهوة والحساب في الحرب قد يطمسان الكفّ، حتى يُتَّخذ مجرى الزمن الطبيعي سلاحًا.
