Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
vyavasāyaṃ ca putrās te dadṛśuḥ sahasainikāḥ | bhārata! tatra sainikaiḥ saha tava putrair bhīmasenasya balaṃ vīryaṃ parākramaṃ ca udyogaṃ ca dṛṣṭam |

The verse highlights that steadfast resolve (vyavasāya) and sustained effort (udyoga), joined with strength and valor, can outweigh numerical advantage. Ethically, it points to the decisive role of disciplined energy and courageous perseverance in the kṣatriya context.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Kaurava princes, along with their soldiers, directly observe Bhīma’s formidable power and relentless exertion on the battlefield, indicating the impact of Bhīma’s actions on the opposing side.
