अन्धकार-रजःसंमूढे रणाङ्गणे प्रदीपप्रकाशः | Illumination of the Army in Darkness and Dust
तत्रापश्यंस्तव सुता भीमसेनस्य विक्रमम् । सुपुड्ख: कड़कवासोभिरययत् कर्ण छादयच्छरै:,आपके पुत्रोंने वहाँ भीमसेनका यह अद्भुत पराक्रम देखा कि उन्होंने कंकपत्रयुक्त सुन्दर पंखवाले बाणोंसे कर्णको आच्छादित कर दिया
tatrāpaśyaṃs tava sutā bhīmasenasya vikramam | supuṅkhaḥ kaḍakavāsobhir ayayat karṇaṃ chādayac charaiḥ ||
قال سنجيا: هناك شهد أبناؤك بأسَ بهيماسينا المدهش—كيف تقدّم، وبسهامٍ حسنة الريش، فأطبق على كارنا من كل جانب بوابلٍ كثيف من النبال. ويُبرز المشهد اندفاع المعركة الذي لا يلين، حيث لا يُقاس البأس بالتفاخر، بل بالقدرة على المضيّ قُدماً مع حفظ انضباط الفروسية وسط الفوضى.
