अन्धकार-रजःसंमूढे रणाङ्गणे प्रदीपप्रकाशः | Illumination of the Army in Darkness and Dust
स नन्दयन् रणे पार्थ केशवं च यशस्विनम् । सात्यकिं चक्ररक्षी च भीम: कर्णमयोधयत्,भीमसेन रणक्षेत्रमें कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन, यशस्वी श्रीकृष्ण, सात्यकि तथा दोनों चक्ररक्षक युधामन्यु एवं उत्तमौजाको आनन्दित करते हुए कर्णके साथ युद्ध कर रहे थे
sa nandayan raṇe pārthaṁ keśavaṁ ca yaśasvinam | sātyakiṁ cakrarakṣī ca bhīmaḥ karṇam ayodhayat ||
قال سنجيا: في غمرة القتال كان بهيما ينازل كارنا، فيُبهج بارثا (أرجونا)، وكيشافا (كريشنا) المجيد، وساتياكي، وحُرّاس العربة—بشجاعته وثباته في الميدان. وتُبرز الآية كيف يستطيع بأسُ المحارب أن يرفع معنويات الحلفاء ويشدّ أزرهم وسط العبء الأخلاقي للحرب.
