Chapter 137: Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki) Slays Somadatta; Yudhiṣṭhira Redirected from Droṇa
आगच्छतस्तान् सहसा कुमारान् देवरूपिण: । प्रतिजग्राह समरे भीमसेनो हसन्निव,उन देवतुल्य राजकुमारोंको सहसा देख समरभूमिमें भीमसेनने हँसते हुए-से उनका आघात सहन किया
āgacchatas tān sahasā kumārān devarūpiṇaḥ | pratijagrāha samare bhīmaseno hasann iva ||
قال سنجيا: لما اندفع أولئك الأمراءُ الفتيان، المتلألئون كأنهم آلهة، دفعةً واحدة، تلقّاهم بهيماسينا في ساحة القتال واحتمل صدمتهم—كأنه يضحك—مُظهرًا ثباتًا لا يعرف الخوف وسط زحمة الحرب.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in practice: steadiness under sudden danger, meeting force with composure, and maintaining courage without being shaken by the opponent’s brilliance or numbers.
A group of godlike young princes charge forward together; Bhīma confronts them directly in battle and endures/receives their onslaught with confident fearlessness, described as ‘as if laughing.’
