इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि सात्यकिकप्रवेशे एकविंशत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi sātyakikapraveśe ekaviṁśatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

وهكذا، في «المهابهارتا الشريفة»، ضمن «دروṇa پرفا»—وخاصةً في قسم مقتل جايادراثا—يُختتم الفصلُ الحادي والعشرون بعد المائة، وموضوعه دخولُ ساتياكي (في صفوف التشكيل القتالي). وبصفته خاتمةً تدوينية، فهو يُعلن انتقالًا في سرد الحرب: يُغلق وحدةً من الفعل، ويُبرز الثقلَ الأخلاقي لما سيأتي، مما يتصل بالثأر والواجب (الدارما) وتفاقم كلفة الحرب.
