The verse highlights kṣātra-dharma in action: a leader who quickly regains composure and acts decisively can protect allies from fear and psychologically overpower opponents. Inner fearlessness becomes an ethical and strategic force on the battlefield.
Sañjaya describes a warrior who, after a brief moment, becomes steady again, urges his fine horses forward, and advances boldly. His own fearlessness causes great terror among the enemy ranks.
