इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे चतुरधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe caturadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
قال سانجيا: وهكذا، في «المهابهاراتا» المقدّسة، ضمن «درونا بارفا»—وخاصةً في القسم الخاص بقتل جايدراتا—يُختَتم الفصل الرابع بعد المئة، الذي يصف اشتباكاً متشابكاً مضطرباً في ساحة القتال. ويُبرز هذا الكولوفون الحدث بوصفه منعطفاً ذا ثقلٍ أخلاقي: إذ يتفاقم اضطراب الحرب حين تتلاقى النذور والواجب والقصاص حول مصير جايدراتا.
