इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें द्रोणाचार्य और धृष्ट्युम्नका युद्धविषयक सत्तानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṁ Śrīmahābhārate Droṇaparvake antargataṁ Jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi Droṇācārya-Dhṛṣṭadyumnayoḥ yuddhaviṣayakaḥ saptānavatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
قال سنجيا: هكذا ينتهي الفصل السابع والتسعون من «دروṇa پرفا» من «المهابهارتا الممجَّدة»، ضمن مقطع قتل جايدَرَثا، واصفًا قتال دروṇاتشاريا ودهرِشْتَيومنا. إن خاتمة الفصل تُغلق هذا المشهد الحربي إغلاقًا رسميًا، مُبرِزةً اندفاع الحرب الذي لا يلين، وثِقَل العبء الأخلاقي-الدهرمي الذي يحمله أبطالها الرئيسيون.
