Sātyaki-praveśaḥ and Duryodhana-saṃnipātaḥ
Sātyaki’s passage and Duryodhana’s mass engagement
dhṛṣṭadyumnamukhaiḥ sārtha virāṭaśva sakekayāḥ

The verse highlights coordinated action under rightful leadership: in a dharmic struggle, unity among allies and disciplined following of a capable commander are presented as essential to fulfilling kṣatriya duty responsibly.
Sañjaya reports that the Pāṇḍava-aligned forces move together with Dṛṣṭadyumna in the lead, joined by contingents associated with Virāṭa and the Kekayas, indicating a consolidated advance of allied troops in the battle.
