ववर्ष तत्र पर्जन्यो मांसशोणितवृष्टिमान् । दिक्षु सर्वाणि सैन्यानि तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्,उस समय वहाँ मेघ सब दिशाओंमें समस्त सैनिकोंपर मांस और रक्तकी वर्षा करने लगे। वह एक अद्भुत-सी बात हुई
vavarṣa tatra parjanyo māṃsaśoṇitavṛṣṭimān | dikṣu sarvāṇi sainyāni tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: هناك صبَّت سحابةُ المطر وابلًا من اللحم والدم. وفي كلِّ جهةٍ وقع على جموع الجيوش جميعًا—نذيرًا رهيبًا غريبًا بدا كأنه أعجوبة، يُنذر بفجيعةٍ أخلاقية وبدمارٍ عظيم توشك الحرب أن تُطلقه.
