संवर्त उवाच वज्ञादुग्राद् व्येतु भयं तवाद्य वातो भूत्वा हन्मि नरेन्द्र बज़म् । भयं त्यक्त्वा वरमन्यं वृणीष्व कं ते काम॑ं मनसा साधयामि
Saṁvarta uvāca | vajñād ugrād vyetu bhayaṁ tavādya vāto bhūtvā hanmi narendra vajram | bhayaṁ tyaktvā varam anyaṁ vṛṇīṣva kaṁ te kāmaṁ manasā sādhayāmi ||
قال سَمْفَرْتَا: «لِيَزُلْ اليوم خوفُك من صاعقة إندرا الرهيبة. سأَتَّخِذُ هيئةَ الريح، فأُبْطِلُ أثرَ هذه الصاعقة في الحال. اطرح الخوف واختر مني نعمةً أخرى. قل لي—أيُّ رغبةٍ في قلبك أُتمِّم؟»
