पराक्रमैस्तेडपि तदा व्यघ्नन्नत्रिसुरक्षिता: । उद्धासितश्न सविता देवास्त्राता हतासुरा:
parākramais te ’pi tadā vyaghnaṁn atrisurakṣitāḥ | uddhāsitaś ca savitā devās trātā hatāsurāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «حينئذٍ إن الآلهة أيضًا، وقد كانوا في حماية أتري، ضربوا الأعداء وأسقطوهم ببأسهم هم. وجُعلت الشمس (سافيتْر) متألقة، ونُجّيت الآلهة، وأُبيد الأسورا. ولما رأوا أولئك الأسورا العظام يُحرقون بوهج أتري الروحي، نهضت الآلهة—وهي آمنة تحت كنفه—إلى الفعل وقتلت الدايتيَة. ويؤكد هذا المقطع أن الحماية العادلة والزهد الباطني يقوّيان الجهد الحق: فالعون الإلهي لا يحلّ محل الشجاعة، بل يمكّنها من الظفر على قوى الهدم.»
