वंशानुकीर्तनम् — Genealogical Recitation from Dakṣa to Yayāti and the Establishment of the Paurava Line

शब्दसंस्कारसंयुक्तिर््रुवद्धिश्चापरैर्द्धिजै: । नादितः स बभौ श्रीमान्‌ ब्रह्मलोक इवापर:,दूसरे द्विजबालक शब्द-संस्कारसे सम्पन्न थे--वे स्थान, करण और प्रयत्नका ध्यान रखते हुए संस्कृतवाक्योंका उच्चारण कर रहे थे। इन सबके तुमुल शब्दोंसे गूँजता हुआ वह सुन्दर आश्रम द्वितीय ब्रह्मलोकके समान सुशोभित होता था

śabdasaṃskārasaṃyuktir dhruvaddhiścāparair dvijaiḥ | nāditaḥ sa babhau śrīmān brahmaloka ivāparaḥ ||

قال فايشَمبايانا: كان ذلك المَنسَك البهيّ عامرًا بفتيةٍ من «ذوي الميلادين» قد تهذّبت ألسنتهم وتدرّبوا على مخارج الحروف تدريبًا صحيحًا. كانوا يتلون الجُمَل السنسكريتية بنطقٍ ثابتٍ منضبط، يراعون موضع الصوت وآلته وجهد الإخراج. فدوّى المَنسَك من كل جانب بأصواتهم المتآلفة، وتألق كأنه «عالم براهما» ثانٍ—صورةٌ للعلم تُقيمها المجاهدة والوقار.
