Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
सौतिर्वाच तक्षकस्य वच: श्रुत्वा काश्यपो द्विजसत्तम: । प्रदध्यौ सुमहातेजा राजानं प्रति बुद्धिमान्,उग्रश्रवाजी कहते हैं--तक्षककी बात सुनकर परम बुद्धिमान् महातेजस्वी विप्रवर काश्यपने राजा परीक्षितके विषयमें कुछ देर ध्यान लगाकर सोचा
Sautir uvāca: Takṣakasya vacaḥ śrutvā Kāśyapo dvijasattamaḥ | pradadhyau sumahātejā rājānaṃ prati buddhimān ||
قال سوتي: لما سمع كاشيابا—وهو أرفعُ البراهمة، شديدُ الإشراق، بالغُ الحكمة—كلامَ تَكْشَكَ، توقّف هنيهةً يتأمّل، ووجّه فكره إلى شأن الملك بَريِكشِت.
