उवाच चैनां भगवान् कश्यप: पुनरेव ह । धार्यतामप्रमादेन गर्भोड्यं सुमहोदय:,इतना कहकर भगवान् कश्यपने पुनः विनतासे कहा--'देवि! यह गर्भ महान् अभ्युदयकारी होगा, अतः इसे सावधानीसे धारण करो
uvāca caināṃ bhagavān kaśyapaḥ punar eva ha | dhāryatām apramādena garbho 'yaṃ sumahodayaḥ ||
ثم خاطبها الحكيم الجليل كاشيابا مرة أخرى: «أيتها الإلهة، احملي هذا الحمل بيقظةٍ وحذر، ولا تدعي الغفلة تتسلل إليك. فإن الجنين في رحمك سيجلب رخاءً عظيماً ورفعةً كبرى».
शौनक उवाच
The verse teaches apramāda—careful vigilance and freedom from negligence—especially when entrusted with something consequential. Ethically, it frames pregnancy (and by extension any duty) as a sacred responsibility whose outcomes affect the wider world.
Sage Kaśyapa addresses Vinatā again, instructing her to carry her pregnancy with great care, because the child to be born will be a source of major uplift and prosperity. It functions as a prophetic reassurance and a directive for disciplined conduct.
