तपसा वालखिल्यानां मम संकल्पजौ तथा । भविष्यतो महाभागोौ पुत्रौ त्रैलोक्यपूजितौ,“वालखिल्योंकी तपस्या तथा मेरे संकल्पसे तुम्हें दो परम सौभाग्यशाली पुत्र प्राप्त होंगे, जिनकी तीनों लोकोंमें पूजा होगी”
tapasā vālakhilyānāṃ mama saṅkalpajau tathā | bhaviṣyato mahābhāgau putrau trailokya-pūjitau ||
قال شاونَكا: «بزهد حكماء فالاكيليا، وكذلك بقوة عزيمتي أنا، سيولد لك ابنان في غاية السعادة والبركة، وسيُبجَّلان مع الزمن في العوالم الثلاثة».
शौनक उवाच
The verse highlights the moral-spiritual idea that tapas (austerity) and saṅkalpa (firm, righteous resolve) are potent forces that can shape outcomes—here, the promised birth of illustrious offspring revered across the three worlds.
Śaunaka delivers a prophetic assurance: due to the ascetic merit of the Vālakhilya sages and his own determined resolve, the addressed person will obtain two highly blessed sons who will become widely revered.
