Shloka 141

Hiḍimbā’s Petition, Conditional Union with Bhīma, and the Birth-Naming of Ghaṭotkaca

Iti prakāraṁ Śrīmahābhārata Ādiparva ke antargata Jatugṛhapārva meṁ Duryodhana-parāmarśa-viṣayaka eka-śata-ikatālīsavāṁ adhyāya pūrā huā.

Educational Q&A

Even when presented as ‘counsel,’ strategies rooted in deception and harm violate dharma; the epic frames such deliberations as ethically corrosive and socially destabilizing.

This line is a concluding colophon stating that the chapter has ended; it identifies the text as part of the Ādi Parva, within the Jatugṛha episode, and notes that the chapter’s subject concerns Duryodhana’s counsel/deliberations.
