FAQs

It frames Shiva (the Linga’s indwelling Pati) as the omniscient source of Vedic meaning and the director of all karma, implying that Linga-puja is not mere ritual but alignment of the pashu (soul) with the Lord who governs all actions.

Shiva-tattva is presented as all-knowing (veda-śāstra-tattvajña), all-governing (sarvakāryābhicintaka), and complete in auspicious qualities—revealing Pati as the inner ruler beyond pasha (bondage) and the ground of true knowledge.

The verse points to Pāśupata-oriented discipline: offering every act to Shiva with reflective awareness (abhicintana), turning ritual and daily duties into Shiva-arpana that loosens pasha and steadies the pashu in devotion and insight.
