Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

भवक्षेत्रे सुगुप्ते वा भवारामे वने ऽपि वा गृहे तु सुशुभे देशे विजने जन्तुवर्जिते

bhavakṣetre sugupte vā bhavārāme vane 'pi vā gṛhe tu suśubhe deśe vijane jantuvarjite

سواء أكان ذلك في حَرَمٍ مقدّسٍ لِبهافا (شيفا) مُحكَمِ الحراسة، أم في بستانِ بهافا، أم حتى في الغابة—أو داخلَ البيت—فليُختَر موضعٌ بالغُ اليُمن: مُنعزلٌ، ساكنٌ، وخالٍ من المخلوقات المُزعِجة. هناك، ومع سحبِ الذهن عن pāśa (القيد)، يستطيع paśu (النفس الفردية) أن يقترب من Pati (الرب شيفا) عبر عبادةِ اللِّينغا المنضبطة.
