प्राणा वै जगतामापो भूतानि भुवनानि च बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन चराचरमिदं जगत्

Transliteration

prāṇā vai jagatāmāpo bhūtāni bhuvanāni ca bahunātra kimuktena carācaramidaṃ jagat

Translation

حقًّا إنَّ البرانا (نَفَسَ الحياة) هو دعامة العوالم—المياه، والكائنات، وجميع الممالك. فما الحاجة إلى الإطالة؟ إنَّ هذا الكون كلَّه، متحرّكًا وساكنًا، قائمٌ بذاك البرانا؛ وفي النهاية يعتمد على «پَتي»—الربّ شيفا، الحاكم الباطن للحياة.
