भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)
पर्यपृच्छेत् पतङ्गो ऽपि सौम्याशां चोत्तरे ऽहनि मध्ये तु पुष्करस्याथ भ्रमते दक्षिणायने
paryapṛcchet pataṅgo 'pi saumyāśāṃ cottare 'hani madhye tu puṣkarasyātha bhramate dakṣiṇāyane
حتى الشمس (پتنگا) تبدو كأنها «تسأل وتفتّش»: ففي مسارها الشمالي تميل إلى الناحية الشمالية اللطيفة؛ أمّا في مسارها الجنوبي فيُقال إنها تدور حول وسط بوشكارا. وهكذا تشير حركة الكون نفسها إلى المركز المقدّس، حيث يُتقرَّب إلى البَتي (شيفا) عبر التيرثا والانضباط في الممارسة.
