ग॒णास्त्वोप॑ गायन्तु॒ मारु॑ताः पर्जन्य घो॒षिणः॒ पृथ॑क्। सर्गा॑ व॒र्षस्य॒ वर्ष॑तो॒ वर्ष॑न्तु पृथि॒वीमनु॑
gaṇā́s tvópa gāyantu mā́rutāḥ parjanya ghoṣíṇaḥ pṛ́thak | sárgā varṣásya várṣato várṣantu pṛthivī́m ánu ||
Let the companies of the Maruts, roaring aloud, sing unto thee, O Parjanya, each in his several quarter. Let the discharges of rain, as it raineth, rain down upon the Earth.
لتُنشِدْ لك جموعُ الماروت، الهادرةُ الصاخبة، يا بارجَنيا، كلٌّ في ناحيته على حِدة. ولتَهطِلْ دُفعاتُ المطر—حين يهطِل—على الأرض.
