The boiled goat—cover thou it with the boiled (preparation), with skin; with all its members, compacted, manifold in form. Let it rise from hence toward the highest heaven; with four feet take thou firm stand, confronting, in the quarters.

التيسُ المسلوق—غَطِّهِ بالمسلوق، بجلده؛ بجميع أعضائه مجموعةً متماسكةً، متعدّدَ الهيئة. فليقمْ من ههنا نحو أعلى السماء؛ وبأربع قوائم اثبُتْ ثباتًا، مُواجِهًا، في الجهات.

Rootशृत (कृदन्त-प्रातिपदिक; √श्रि/श्रय्? → here as PPP ‘शृत’ from √श्रि?; in Vedic commonly ‘शृत’ = ‘cooked/boiled’ from √श्रि/श्रय् is unlikely; standard is √श्रि not; better: √श्रि is ‘to lean’; ‘शृत’ as PPP from √श्रि is not regular; in AV ‘शृत’ is used for ‘cooked/boiled’ from √श्रि? actually classical: √श्रि has no; ‘शृत’ is PPP of √श्रि?; more securely: PPP of √श्रि is ‘श्रित’; hence take ‘शृत’ as PPP of √श्र (to cook) i.e., √श्र (श्र्) not standard; but Vedic has √श्र (to cook) attested → ‘शृत’}
