प्र॒तीच्यां॑ दि॒शि भ॒सद॒मस्य धेह्युत्त॑रस्यां दि॒श्युत्त॑रं धेहि पा॒र्श्वम्। ऊ॒र्ध्वायां॑ दि॒श्य॑१जस्यानू॑कं धेहि दि॒शि ध्रु॒वायां॑ धेहि पाज॒स्यऽम॒न्तरि॑क्षे मध्य॒तो मध्य॑मस्य
pratī́cyāṃ diśí bhasadám asyá dhehy ùttarasyāṃ diśy ùttaráṃ dhehi pārśvám | ūrdhvā́yāṃ diśy àjasyānū́kaṃ dhehi diśí dhrúvāyāṃ dhehi pājásyàntárikṣe madhyatáḥ mádhyam asyá
In the western quarter set thou the rump of this; in the northern quarter set thou the northern portion—set the flank. In the upward quarter set thou the goat’s back-bone; in the steadfast quarter set thou the vigorous part; in mid-air, from the middle, set thou its middle.
في الجهة الغربية ضَعْ عَجُزَ هذا؛ وفي الجهة الشمالية ضَعْ جزءَه الشمالي—ضَعْ خاصرتَه. وفي الجهة العلوية ضَعْ عظمَ ظهرِ التيس؛ وفي الجهة الثابتة (dhruvā) ضَعْ جزءَه القويّ؛ وفي الأنتاريكشا (antarikṣa: الفضاء بين السماء والأرض)، من الوسط، ضَعْ وسطَه.
