सूर्यं॒ चक्षु॑षा गच्छ॒ वात॑मा॒त्मना॒ दिवं॑ च॒ गच्छ॑ पृथि॒वीं च॒ धर्म॑भिः । अ॒पो वा॑ गच्छ॒ यदि॒ तत्र॑ ते हि॒तमोष॑धीषु॒ प्रति॑ तिष्ठा॒ शरी॑रैः

IAST Transliteration

sū́ryaṃ cákṣuṣā gaccha vā́tam ātmánā dívam ca gáccha pṛthivī́ṃ ca dhármabhiḥ | apó vā gáccha yádi tátra te hitám óṣadhīṣu práti tiṣṭha śarī́raiḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Go to the Sun with thine eye; go to the Wind with thy breath-self; go to Heaven, and to Earth with rightful ordinances. Or go unto the Waters, if there be thy appointed good; in the Plants take thou thy station again, with thy bodily parts.

Translation

اذهبْ إلى سُوريا (Sūrya) بعينِكَ؛ واذهبْ إلى فايُو (Vāyu) بذاتِكَ النَّفَسية؛ واذهبْ إلى السماء وإلى الأرض بشرائع الدَّهَرْما (dharma). أو اذهبْ إلى المياه إن كان هناك خيرُكَ المعيَّن؛ وفي الأعشاب/النباتات «أوشَذِي» (oṣadhi) فاثبُتْ من جديد بأعضاء جسدِكَ.
